READY-MADE PARTS: 14-DAY CANCELLATION
If you buy a ready-made part, you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive it. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
To cancel, email me at DanielLarman12@outlook.com and say you want to cancel. Please do this before you post anything back. Then send the part back to me within 14 days of telling me you are cancelling.
Please take reasonable care of the part while you have it. It should be unused and in its original condition. If it has been used or damaged, I may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.
You pay the postage to send the part back, unless it is faulty or not as described (see below). I recommend a tracked service, because the part is your responsibility until it reaches me.
I will refund you within 14 days of receiving the part back (or of you showing me proof that you posted it, whichever is earlier). The refund goes to the payment method you used. It includes the standard delivery cost you paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, I refund only the cost of standard delivery.
CUSTOM PARTS: MADE TO YOUR SPECIFICATION
Parts made to your own specification, for example through the Custom Workshop Requests page, are not covered by the 14-day cancellation right. This is because they are made specially for you.
Before I start any custom part, I will send you a price and a timeline by email. Nothing is made until you agree, and you can change your mind at any point before that. Once I have started making your part, it cannot be cancelled or returned, unless it is faulty or not as described.
FAULTY OR NOT AS DESCRIBED
Whatever type of part you buy, the law says it must be of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose and as described. If a part arrives faulty or not as described, please email me as soon as you can with photos, so I can look into it.
If the part is faulty, you can reject it within 30 days of receiving it and get a full refund. After 30 days, I will normally repair or replace it. I pay the return postage for faulty parts. These are your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing on this page affects them.
RC parts are made for hobby use, and crashes and hard landings are part of that. Damage caused by crashes, misuse or modifying a part is not counted as a fault.
PARTS DAMAGED IN THE POST
If your order arrives damaged, please email me with photos of the part and the packaging as soon as you can. I will sort out a replacement or a refund and deal with the carrier myself.
